TK PRY |
First sang for the Lord as a five-year-old Christmas angel in her little country church in Pennsylvania. She has never been far from her Catholic roots, earning a degree in music from the Catholic University of America, while serving as cantor and choir member at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in the nation’s capitol.
A diverse artist, TK has recorded and performed professionally all types of music including country, jazz, pop, liturgical, industrial and musical theater. Her original cabaret, “Short Stuff” was a hit in NYC and Pittsburgh and she has acted, sung, and danced in venues across the country. However, TK feels most at home where she started, in church. The contemporary sound, diverse style, driving rhythms, and both poignant and joyful music of Circle of Faith is the perfect fit for TK’s broad range. Her commitment to her faith and her relationship with Christ has emerged through her continued music ministry while pursuing her acting/musical theater career. She has voiced her love for the Lord in churches from the iconic St. Malachy (actor’s chapel) on Broadway to the ministry she shares with Circle of Faith founder, Art Suriano in the contemporary band at her parish in Sparta, NJ, where she resides with her husband, John Pry and two children. She recently performed with the renowned Keith and Kristyn Getty at Carnegie Hall in their concert tour of "Joy- an Irish Christmas." TK’s belief in the power of reaching the hearts of people everywhere through her angelic voice can be summed up in one of the tracks on the CD - “Give Music to the Lord.” |
